Business Use of Social Media

Social media is the big bad gorilla in the room. Those in the media, PR, marketing and advertising business can feel it’s presence and know that it’s something that they should be “doing.”

At MS&L, we find that there are two camps when it comes to social media. The first group consists of those that have jumped into the deep end of the pool and are fully immersed in the depths of the conversation. Then there are those who are standing pool side, thinking about jumping in, but mostly are toe-dipping.

On July 22nd, we are moderating a Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce panel discussion that will demonstrate the business use of social media featuring case studies from Best Doctors, WBZ and Beth Israel. The session will help the toe-dippers, as well as those splashing around in the deep end, to better understand the social media climate; how to develop program strategies; monitor and measure the conversation; and how to use it to drive business goals.

For more details and to register for the event, please visit the Chamber website. Hope to see you there. Bring your pool towel.
